SPSS® is a statistical and data management software package used for analysis and research.
Who Can Use the Software?
Stony Brook University students, faculty and staff can purchase SPSS® for SUNY academic purposes. Brookhaven National Laboratory computers and staff are not eligible.
How Much Does it Cost?
$90 for SPSS® 16.0: SPSS Base
$165 for Amos (structural equation modeling)
$165 for AnswerTree (market segmentation)
$39 for extra programs
How Do I Obtain the Software?
Bring payment or departmental purchase order and your Stony Brook ID card to the Seawolves MarketPlace in the Student Activities Center on West Campus. You will be asked to sign an agreement form and show your Stony Brook ID in order to receive the CD.
SPSS License Expiration Date:
SPSS® expires each year on May 31st. It is not prorated. Regardless of when you purchase the software, it will still expire on May 31.
