Maple Licensing
Maple is a sophisticated program for solving mathematical problems symbolically as well as numerically. It produces 2-D and 3-D graphs. It is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and a variety of other Unix platforms. For more information on Maple, visit http://www.maplesoft.com.
Who can use Maple software?
Patricipation in this program entitles a campus to site licensing (unlimited use) of the following Waterloo Maple software:
Participating Institutions (PI) may install and use the software on all computers owned by the PI. Authorized users include SUNY employees, faculty members, students, volunteers or agents performing work for SUNY's benefit at the PI.
Authorized users may install the software on (1) their workstations at work, (2) their workstations at home, and (3) their portable (laptop) computers, as well as access to the software online from a licensed processor.
How to obtain Maple:
Faculty, staff, and students can obtain a copy of Maple from Softweb for free or obtain a CD for $5 from Seawolves MarketPlace. Faculty or staff managing instructional labs may submit a request for funding from Teaching, Learning + Technology. Contact Matthew Froehlich at (631) 632-2778 for additional information.
Maple License expiration date:
Maple expires each year on August 31st.
