Client Support only supports Dell OptiPlex and Dell Latitude systems within departmental offices. We reserve the right to deny service to all other systems.

Note: New York State has negotiated incredible prices with Dell for standard OptiPlex and Latitude systems. The OptiPlex desktops start at $549, while Latitudes (laptops) start at $640. Go to the Dell Web site for more information.

Dell and Stony Brook University have set up a Web site for the easy order of Dell OptiPlex systems for departments. These Dells are shipped with a standard configuration and can be customized with optional components.

First-time visitors must register and create an account to log into the Web site. Once you log into the Dell Premiere Web site, click on Purchasing Tools from the left side and then select Your Dell Store to see the recommended bundled packages.

The department must include an e-quote number on its purchase requisition. The user should go to the Web site listed above; configure their machine order; then save the configuration as an e-quote.
